LeavenLaw is currently lead trial counsel (or has been) in almost ten (10) consumer class action lawsuits in the State of Florida. A class action is a type of collective litigation where one person files a lawsuit alleging some wrong doing to them that is also a wrong doing that many others who have suffered as well. A class action allows one person to try and hold big business, banks or debt collectors (some of the types of class cases LeavenLaw focuses on; there are others) accountable.
In the coming months of LeavenLaw's Counsel for Life newsletter, we will be bringing issues to our clients and followers, asking them if they are aware of certain conduct, that either they or someone they know have experienced. In the event someone has been a victim or object of wrongdoing, we will work with that person to further explore their potential case and discuss whether they can be a class representative -- someone who helps consumers other than themselves. In the spirit of National Consumer Protection Week LeavenLaw is happy to bring this notification service to consumers across Florida and the United States of America.
