Carter Andersen, Chair of the Thirteenth Circuit Judicial Nominating Commission, adds, “Mr. Nash presented an excellent application for the County Court vacancy.  His diversity of experience over fifteen years as an attorney was unique – from sophisticated commercial litigation to representing consumers to excellent jury trial experience.  But what makes Mr. Nash so well suited for the County Court position are his integrity, fairness, and great listening skills.  Mr. Nash will be a great judge because he is committed to giving people their day in court and fairly applying the law.  Our JNC nominated six highly qualified candidates for this position, and Governor Scott made a very strong appointment with Mr. Nash." Mr. Nash fills the vacancy created by the appointment of Judge Matthew Lucas to the Thirteenth Judicial Circuit Court.
